Chapter - 18

Before going to the last chapter let us discuss on three of my concepts elaborately. The discussion on these aspects will complete the cycles of my works and thoughts. I had a misconception before these thoughts occurred to me that I had already conceived, worked and communicated all about the Earth. Nothing is left to think over, express or communicate with the world. It was sheer wrong notion and immaturity on my part. Some time back, these three ideas suddenly came to my mind and then only I came to realise that if I can share these ideas with the people of the Earth, 98% of the total responsibility bestowed upon me by the Mother Earth, can be considered fulfilled. Now I am going to discuss the points that will make clear why I thought in that way.

The first of my three ideas are that the Earth also has life. I firmly believe in it. A lifeless or dead object can never create life. This is my own heart-felt realisation. A sapling comes out of the soil and in course of time becomes a massive tree with flowers and fruits. Millions of trees grow up taking the fluid from Mother Earth. This is as similar as a child grows up with the help of his mother's breastmilk. If the Earth was not alive then how could a sapling get ample fluid of affection for growing? Also, I think that all of us take a rest for a while after working hard for some time. Moreover, we take leave from our work for rest and recuperation and once again return to our work schedule. Rest makes us fresh and rejuvenated. Now if the Earth after taking the immense burden of billions of human beings, animals and mundane objects for billions of years, decides to take a rest for some time, what would happen? Perhaps that would have been the darkest moment of this world. All the creatures would have been destroyed. But the kindest Mother Earth never allows such things to happen. She has a mind, full of love for us. And for our benefit, she never thinks of taking any leave.

Our second point of discussion is on the Rule of the Earth. It needs an elaborate discussion. Ever since his birth man grows up following certain unwritten rules and conventions such as waking up in the morning, doing morning activities, going to school, showing respect to the country and its people, obeying the commands of elderly persons, showing regards to parents, etc. Being attached to any organisation -- educational, religious, cultural, sports, political or whatever, we are to abide by certain specific rules of these organisations very strictly. If anybody violates any of the rules, he has to face the showcause explaining the reason for the violation. If he fails to justify the reason, he gets punishment from the higher authority of the organisation. He may even be dismissed from the organisation if his offence is proven to be grave. If it is so then there should also be certain codes of conduct for living properly on the Earth where we are born and are merged with the particles of dust after death.  Those are the Rules of The Earth. According to that code of conduct, every citizen of the Earth must be disciplined and rule-abiding. If we look at the history of mankind we will find that the developed and technologically, scientifically and culturally advanced nations are those who are essentially disciplined and rule-abiding. Similarly, the ideal citizen of the Earth should be disciplined and rule-abiding.

A really disciplined person will never be revengeful, arrogant and destructive. Neither a person nor a country will fight against each other. A renowned poet once wrote on the duty of a real soldier --

There's not to make reply
    There's not to reason why
There's but to do or die

I want to add a little note on it. When the entire mankind will realise the importance of discipline as the way of well-being instead of compulsion, they will turn out to be a brigade of disciplined soldiers of the Mother Earth. Mankind will then really be regimented as great soldiers of the Mother Earth.

The third idea that occurred to me is an Earth Development Bank. I feel the immense necessity of such a Bank. People may or may not know that 85% of the total wealth of the Earth is controlled by 15 countries whereas the remaining 15% is owned by the rest of the countries. These little statistics indicate the inequality of distribution of wealth and the disparity among the 15 countries and the others. As a result, when disasters like COVID 19 or any other calamity comes into being, it disrupts the economic equilibrium of the countries. Poverty and unemployment increase consequently. The Earth Development Bank can be of tremendous help in these situations. It can save the world from acute danger. It is the urgent need of the hour to form an Earth Development Bank immediately. The worldwide pandemic has shown us how crucial the consequence may be for any slightest negligence. At the cost of millions of lives, we have come to know this hard reality. To build an Earth Development Bank the financial contribution of each citizen and each country is essential compulsorily, however meagre or larger it may be. Besides, the financial help from worldwide big, medium, small and micro business enterprises will add a substantial amount of funds. All will get requisite exemptions from income-tax for their contributions. The Bank will come forward to help during the worldwide disaster and distress. It is also necessary to make the citizens of the Earth-conscious about the Earth's Rule. It needs intensive campaigning for this awareness programme. The huge money required for this endeavour will be supplied by the Earth Development Bank. In other words, the Earth Development Bank will be built for the welfare of the entire mankind and with the help of all the citizens of the world.
