We have already discussed the scope for ‘TPWP’ for changing the society in previous chapters. Now we will discuss about certain other things. Nowadays people in a large scale prefer ready-made flats for staying. This is because everyone cannot afford to build a house on a small or big plot of land. Moreover, they don’t have time to supervise the construction works for a long period. Thus a good number of people live in housing complexes. Here different people with different tastes, languages, behaviours, food habits and religious practices stay at the same place. There seems to be no relationship or bonding among themselves. On the contrary, the habitants of these housing complexes live in a cold and mechanical atmosphere. Problems and controversies are created very often among the flat owners and here is the need for “Theory of Permanent World Peace”. There are lots of common things in the housing – common passage, common lift, common parking spaces etc. The application of ‘TPWP’ will teach them to build a common mental factor. If only every habitant considers the housing as their extended family if they feel that they all have important roles to play in maintenance, cleanliness and decision-making. This awareness will bring each other closer and regular communication will make them believe that any problem is a collective problem, not merely an individual one. Problems will be amicably settled and secured and a peaceful ambience will be ensured. The housing complex will then act as a miniature form of a greater world of love and affection.
We all are familiar with the term minority community. It is a common term all around the world. This is the concept of humiliation. If each religion is the same in preaching love to other religions, then numerical inferiority or superiority does not make any difference and the term minority or majority community then does not carry any meaning. Love is the only and the common criterion of all religions.
Religion is one that holds love, respect, honour in one’s mind for others and the Mother Earth bears all such religions. So if we can love Mother Earth then all discriminations and differences will come to an end. People of all religions be it a lesser number or greater number - will live together not only physically but also in the minds. This apparently difficult task may only be achieved with the love for the Mother Earth. Mother Earth does not recognise the man as per his religion. A Human being is the only identity to her. All the habitants of the world have only been identified as the children of Mother Earth.
There is a common distinction between urban citizens and rural citizens, similarly, between citizens of other states and other countries. Is it necessary to classify human beings in different names? Has it become possible for any state or country to keep themselves really detached from others? Perhaps not! Otherwise, there would not be any international treaty, agreement, or international air communication among countries. Students of one country would not then travel to other countries for higher studies. Cultural and commercial relations would not exist if the countries could have stayed secluded. So, if there be a relation of some sort, then why there should be an attitude of disrespect and hatred? We have to keep it in our minds that before we think of ourselves as citizens of respective countries we should think of ourselves as the children of Mother Earth. We have to be humane in every sense of the term. Only then men of every country would be equally acceptable to each other. To be ‘humane’ it is necessary to realise that we are all habitants of the same world. Man has always demarcated countries by using barriers or fencing in border areas. A bird can cross the border. Migrant birds roam about miles from one continent to the other. The same is true for water animals. They all have one address – the entire world.
Nature teaches all other animals since they are born that they are free to live in this world which is their address. Mother Earth embraces them, loves them and nurtures them. We find pleasure in capturing animals by making them our pets, training them to entertain us in private circuses and so on. We capture, keep them in prisons and torture them. We want them to imitate and entertain us. We point out the behaviour of other animals as inhuman but the animal never tries to keep man under control forcibly. We should take the lesson from them that first and foremost we all are the citizens of the Earth.
We have to realise that Mother Earth renders love and affection to all irrespective of their birthplace, creed, caste or religion. Moreover, she provides all with water, light, air. Man differentiates man in terms of good, bad and ugly. We have our yardstick to differentiate. Mother Earth does not do so, to her everybody is equal and she shows equal importance and concern to all. It indicates the significance of love for all or the passport of love, issued by our Mother Earth.
