From the Desk of Publisher

Man is on the verge of ruin. There are too many reasons that can be marked as responsible for the decay. The list of incidents impacting our lives includes – war, natural calamity, enmity, fundamentalism, violence in the name of religion, pollution, ozone layer, an ultra-violet ray of the sun and so on. At the same time, our relationships with others including our neighbours often have become artificial and toxic.

At this point of time, an unknown young man Michael Tarun starts thinking about the pathway towards a solution for the global crisis. An OCI staying at New Zealand Michael Tarun, a commerce graduate from Calcutta University went overseas in 1994 to pursue his professional career with a diploma in Food and Beverage service. Travelling 27 countries since then he gained experience that opened a new horizon in his mind. He came back to India from his last working place, Australia.

Almost suddenly he found out the permanent peace solution which later became known as “Theory for Permanent World Peace”. He observes the birthday of Mother Earth on the “Earth and Art Revolution Day” on 15th January every year. Efforts are being made to observe the day worldwide and the United Nations has been appealed accordingly. Meanwhile, Michael Tarun has spent around USD five hundred thousand to spread his works and message to the whole world. The entire amount of money he has arranged from his own savings, he has sacrificed his lucrative job for the past five years, and he has sold most of his properties.

The noble cause of Michael Tarun has been supported by the Hon’ble Prime Ministers of Australia, New Zealand and Canada. He has also received a letter of appreciation from the United Nations and the blessings of Hon’ble Dalai Lama let alone innumerable wishes and support from the media and common people worldwide.

We claim to respect our parents, to care for our kith and kin and love to our friends. But we never feel and express our love for the Earth to whom we all are indebted. This is the love for the Earth that would establish the Permanent World Peace. We, the citizens of the Earth will be immensely benefitted if the Permanent Peace is attained. This is the main subject of this book.

We thank the cover designer and pencil drawing artist Mr Fernando Rodrick alias Avijit and the co-writer of this book Mr Debasish Bandyopadhyay and Mr Apurba Roy for their contribution and participation in the noble project. Lastly, we hope that this book will be acceptable to all and at the same time more and more people will come forward to stand by Michael Tarun to make his dream come true.

A few words:-

A number of people who are strengthening my hands every now and then to go onwards with my thoughts and works, I do honour them and love to write a few names. Mr Vibhu Nath Prasad (Ex-Chief General Manager/Engineers India Ltd.) helped me a lot to publish this book. The very next name I would like to mention is of Mr Sanjeev Kumar Sinha - Marine Chief Engineer. The man I love deeply, Late Dr S. N. Prasad (Ex-Professor and Head Foundry & Forge Technological College). The name which is rushing through my pen is of beloved Mr Sukanta Ranjan Paul - truly a friend in need. It would be a mistake if I don't mention the names of Ms Keya Chakrabarti (Creative-Entrepreneur) and Mr Ruhul Howlader (Engineer) for their utmost support. The last but not the least, the name I would like to mention is of ever-quiet Mr Atanu Kumar Das, the Proprietor of New Bidyut Bakery.
