Chapter - 10

I continued implementing my ideas.  Now, 2019 was nearing.
The days were running so fast. Just a few days back I had completed the event of 2018. Then, again I was back to the hectic schedule.
I have been invited as a guest to various events and functions. People started showing their love, respect, and gratitude through gifts, flowers, greetings, and felicitations. I didn’t crave for all these; all I craved for was the love. But, if someone wants to show his or her love and respect through flowers, gifts, or medals it does not look decent if I don’t accept them or return them back.
Since the event in 2016, in Australia, years were rolling down like this between thoughts, struggles, happiness, and experiences. It was a big struggle and it is still continuing. I am a one-man army. Besides this annual event, I had to arrange different programs including press meets in different places. Because I had to trigger this thought constantly within people otherwise, it would get lost. Different people came up with different opinions regarding the investment of money but, I knew that it was somewhere pre-decided that my money will get invested in this particular project and I am so fortunate that Mother Earth has chosen me for this noble purpose.
I have entered into an unknown motion that is unstoppable.
This feeling was so blissful and overwhelming to me.
It was the middle of 2018, people started acknowledging my thoughts and I was gradually becoming popular. People were inviting me to different programs in various genres. Since they started realising that the project on which I am working can open up new windows of opportunities for them. They can change society and their life by applying this formula of world peace. I came to meet Ridendick Mitro, a poet, lyricist, novelist and author who writes in both English and Bengali. But initially, he was not that keen to know about my project.

I met him first in a program of ‘Prasanta Ghosh Memorial foundation’ by journalist Bidhan Ghosh at Tatigachi, Shimurali, Nadia, West Bengal, India. Bidhan Ghosh arranges many programs and he invites many guests and eminent personalities including political leaders, ministers, researchers, professors, poets, singers, actors, media people, reporters and journalists in press clubs and in other venues. All are cultural events. He works as a journalist for a television channel. Since he was attached to various organisations. Therefore, I and Ridendick Mitro were too invited in those functions and we kept meeting with each other. But we never spoke.

I was inspired by his speeches in the programs and I suggested that if he writes the World Anthem in English for the people of this Earth. One day, I invited him to my house in Kolkata. He prepared approximately fifteen English pop songs. All the songs were composed on Mother Earth but were not like an anthem. So, I requested him to write an anthem. But, it was not possible for him unless and until I shared my experiences and thoughts of this project with him. I don’t know whether I was clear enough to him or not but, he was quite inspired and moved by my ideas. And the World Anthem was gradually penned down by him. I was convinced by the ultimate product. The World Anthem – ‘We are the citizen of the Earth’

I was not surprised by his instant creation because I was aware of his talent for instant writing. In many programs, I have observed him write and recite at the same time on the stage. People too appreciated this talent and he has been praised by their huge applause. Not everyone understands English so he used to translate at the very moment to make them understand. His appearances remind me of foreign cultures. In today’s age of technology, it is very important to keep this kind of versatility and to maintain this style. He is eligible of handling this International standard project with confidence and skills.

I was quite hopeful with him by my side. I was so happy with the World Anthem that he wrote for my foundation. After a long search, I got the opportunity to find a music composer who was suitable for this anthem. Then I met Puja Majumder and Dev Sahil, who were professional singers?

I had little time left in my hand, there was a press meet on 9th July 2018, at the Press Club Kolkata. I have requested so many singers earlier but, they were not ready to sign for this project since the time was too short. Some refused since the language of the song was in English. But these artists somehow were ready to stage the Anthem but, they asked for more time to make it more perfect.
The music was composed by Kumar Chanchal. He did the job within two days. He is a music director and music teacher at the same time. After a very short rehearsal, they performed at the Kolkata press club. Puja and Dev were leading the song and the lyricist Ridendick Mitro was accompanying them on the chorus. Everyone stood up while the anthem was going on. It was a mesmerising scenario, which will always remain in my heart forever. Our National language is not English but, we dared to create a World anthem in English.

This fact surprised everyone present over there. The entire crowd in the Press Club was spellbound and was in tears. Everyone appreciated the anthem and was advised to re-arrange it, to make it much better. It was something like winning the whole world. I felt energized and had to accept the fact that due to a very short time we could not make the anthem perfect, but everyone has appreciated our effort and assured us that this Anthem had a long way to go. The future seemed bright.

Few people are always there in society to pull the hope down. But, I ignored them and was satisfied enough with the view of the majority. In that event, the diminutive model of Mother Earth made by Fernando Rodrick alias Avijit was also displayed. I have dedicated the whole event of 9th July 2018, at Kolkata Press Club to the honorable Chief Minister of our State with the proposition of establishing this idol of Mother Earth at Natshal, on behalf of the government of our State. People started discussing about my project. My thoughts were touching their hearts. Since Puja and Dev were busy with their schedule; I had to opt for some other professional singer.

Music director Kumar Chanchal was looking for a suitable voice and conducted auditions. At last, we got the voice of Anusree Acharjee, also known as Mou Acharjee, who is a student of Bengal Music College. We booked the studio for the purpose of recording on the 18th of December 2018. Mou performed so well in the studio and I was eagerly waiting for the worldwide release of this anthem.
A good thing seemed to happen shortly. A television channel was eager to do a program on my project. On the 29th of December 2018, they had a live telecast with me. The anthem spread into the entire world.
It was nothing but, the wish of Mother Earth, all I can say.
