In order to be healthy and strong in human life, one needs three basic things - Food, Drink, and Air. And again three things you need to live a civilized life are Food, Clothing, and Shelter.  But surprisingly humans didn’t need too much effort to achieve the first three things. Which they easily can get plenty from our Earth and that also free of cost. Instead, they have to achieve the second three items by giving hard and tedious efforts as long as they live.  What is the reason? No, this is the birthright of human beings, it does not have to be achieved like the second one. Available spontaneously. Use as much as you want. While we may get caught up in our day-to-day lives, driving down that same street, consumed with all the important tasks we all need to attend to, we might forget there is the beautiful world around us. A World, a Planet, our Earth, that we might take for granted.

We, humans, keep on saying how much we love our mother nature and yet end up hurting her in each way possible! We promise her we’ll treat her better from now on, but yet we end up cutting forests and damaging her in all the ways possible. The only thing our mother nature is doing is providing us with unconditional love and resources, and we like a bloodsucking insect, using it as much we can without thinking about her. She argues for herself once in a while in the form of natural disasters, but all we do is blame her for it. What we don’t understand is, most of these are man-induced calamities. She’s on the verge of dying, giving us all she could, a true lover, someone who’s giving parts of herself to conserve this relationship, yet we aren’t acknowledging her efforts.

I guess it’s time to love her back for real, care for her and actually work for her betterment. This break-up between us humans and earth would be something we could never be able to move on from, she does something for us which no other planet could. We couldn’t imagine our future without our Earth. We need to work before it’s too late. At this point, Michael Tarun, an unnamed young man, a citizen of New Zealand of Indian descent came forward to make our world permanently safe. After graduating in Commerce from Calcutta University, he went abroad in 1994 for a job with a Diploma in Food and Beverage. Till 2016, he has touched some of the 27 countries and met a number of people there. He has seen some of them well, thus he noticed various helplessness between different countries. These were the different feelings he had accumulated in his mind. Meanwhile, at one point he had to come to India after leaving his job in Australia to stay here, in India, for a while. After returning to Australia one day when he was sitting on the balcony of his Australian home, looking away with wide eyes.

At such a time, a thought suddenly came to his mind and that is the method of bringing everlasting peace to the world. The ‘Earth and Art Revolution Day’ was introduced privately every 15th January for the Birthday Celebration of Our Beautiful Mother Earth. Michael  Tarun has spent about three and a half crore rupees  (Half a million US Doller), in various ways including the money saved by the young man, to make his dreams true. Eventually, his thoughts and actions have received support from the Prime Ministers of Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

He sent a project to the Secretary-General of U.N.O, explaining his thoughts, ideas and works and he received a letter and as per their norms and guideline, Michael Tarun sent a few project files to selected countries, who are the honourary members of U.N.O, requesting every 15th. day of January to observe the Earth and Art Revolution Day and to celebrate the Birthday of Our  Beautiful Mother Earth. He believes, someday, the whole world will observe this day with immense honour and love to achieve Permanent World Peace by the whole world.   He also received a letter of blessings from the Nobel Peace Prize laureate Dalai Lama. Greetings from the office of the Minister of West Bengal and the Hon’ble Mayor of Kolkata. At the same time, he got lots of positive support from news media and deep trust from millions of people around the world.

How the boy of that day changed, intoxicated the whole world, that is the subject matter of this book. Michael has dedicated to the United Nations from his foundation the World Anthem. “ We Are the Citizen of the Earth,” which has been and continues to be shown live around the world. There are also many more plans. The subject of this book is the current story of Michael Tarun from his childhood and his lifestyle. The man who transcribed this book is also a renowned poet-novelist-lyricist-columnist. His name is Ridendik Mitro.

Thanks to graphic designer Bivas Baidya for the beautiful cover design. The picture of the airport inside the book was sketched by artist Fernando Roderick alias Avijit. At the same time, we would like to thank Uttam Kumar Maiti, a teacher,  a Social worker and a true book lover, without his encouragement, it would not have been possible for Michael Tarun to take this bold step forward.

We believe that this book will amaze everyone from the younger generation to the older one, not only in the quality of literature but also for the significant thought and will enrich and will sleek the path of 'Permanent World Peace'.
